I haven't really uploaded in a bit, and there's 2 main reasons for that.

1) Last week I decided to take a week off from drawing, thinking it would do me good. A little break so to say.

Then this week (Wednesday) I had something surgically removed at the hospital, that needed local anesthesia. It was a wild ride but it's done, so that's good. But silly me didn't take enough rest, so I had some physical health stuff plaguing me after (still do, today I'm taking a proper rest day, but we all know I'm not a person to sit still for long xD I'm doing fine overall though, no worries!).

2) Little me (13 years old) started drawing and sharing my art, dreaming of once becoming a big and famous artist. At some point, that caused frustrations and unnecessary stress. At some point, that dream died down and made way for different dreams. I'm 26 now, and at a point in my life where I'm considering keeping my art more personal. I don't upload everything I draw, anymore.

I used to draw fast, to try and get out as much art as possible, to get the most views, to maybe get a comment or two. But it's not worth it. I ended up almost turning a hobby of mine into work and work alone, thus making it not a hobby I enjoyed, anymore.

I found out that when I sit down and take the time to actually draw a character I like, that I enjoy it way more than if I were to try and speed up the process. It makes my art look so much better too, because I poor all my energy and focus into it. This is why over the years my upload schedule has become more sporadic, and less of a schedule. Hell, I have art sitting around at the moment, that I drew weeks ago and still haven't uploaded.

Point is, I'm considering retiring from uploading on social media (with exception of my ToyHouse account because that's where all my characters are stored). At the moment, it's not really that big on my mind, but it's there. Until then I may upload art sporadically, but I find it's been taking too much effort to upload these art pieces on so many different platforms. I tend to share my stuff faster in Discord servers as you only need to drag, maybe add some text, click enter and BAM, it's there. Big platforms are just a hassle I'm getting too old for, LOL.

My life has been changing for the better, with me making plans to finally move out and go to a whole different country to move in with my boyfriend, getting some mental and physical health stuff taken care of along the way, and all that jazz. And I want to change personally, along with all these physical life changes.

Of course my commissions remain open, and I check my DeviantArt literally on the daily, mainly because there's still people I follow that I love seeing art of, and once in a while I like to buy some commissions from others, myself. I won't completely 100% disappear, I don't think I will ever not be on the internet. But I do have a life outside of the internet now, that I'm working more towards. I will keep both lives side by side for as long as I can.

But yeah, that was my long ass update on what's been going on.

Just wanted to let you know my commissions are (still) open!

I decided to advertise them again because I've been saving up for my move, to move in with my boyfriend, and I've had some unexpected expenses recently such as vet bills and medication for my guinea pigs, as well as my regular monthly pays and payment for food (work lunch, dinner and the likes).

Most of the payments I will get from commissions will go either to my savings account for the future or to payments such as the ones listed above.

Hello hello! I got TONS of ToyHouse codes to give away, but I didn’t want to just give them away- and besides that I don’t want to ask money for them either. So, I decided I would open up a journal where I ask for art of my characters in exchange for some ToyHouse codes!

This will be open until all codes have been given away, or if I’m away from home for a bit and therefor unable to get to my PC.

I don’t expect much, it can be a sketch, it can be a more worked out piece, I’m not picky! You can even get multiple codes if you want. The only thing I ask for is that the character(s) you picked is/are recognizable and fit(s) their personality description.

Also, please let me know if you want more than 1 code. More detailed/worked out artwork can gain you more codes if you need more! C;
